Bengaluru-based climate-tech innovator, Newtral Technologies, has announced a significant milestone, securing $600,000 in seed funding. The investment comes from NOW Venture Studio’s Accelerate program, which focuses on fostering deeptech and climate-tech startups. This capital injection is set to propel Newtral’s mission to scale its AI-powered sustainability platform across global markets.
Founded in 2022, Newtral Technologies is pioneering AI-native infrastructure designed to embed sustainability directly into enterprise workflows. Unlike conventional ESG tools that primarily focus on reporting, Newtral’s platform aims to make sustainability an operational function. The company specializes in creating vertical-specific climate systems that automate critical processes such as Scope 3 emissions tracking, supplier data collection, and comprehensive ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) compliance.
A core component of Newtral’s technology involves the use of domain-specific AI agents. These agents are adept at extracting and structuring complex supplier data, converting disparate sources like PDFs and invoices into actionable, decision-grade intelligence. This innovative approach addresses the often messy and manual aspects of sustainability data management, providing clarity and driving tangible climate action.
