Based in New Delhi, Thukral will be instrumental in driving Neo4j’s business expansion across the region. His primary focus will be on cultivating deeper customer engagements and fostering a robust partner ecosystem. Thukral brings over two decades of extensive experience in the enterprise technology sector. His impressive career includes leadership roles at prominent companies such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) India & SAARC, Oracle, and Ingram Micro. At AWS, he was responsible for managing partner programs, co-selling strategies, and marketplace initiatives, demonstrating a strong track record in scaling high-growth businesses and implementing impactful go-to-market strategies.
This appointment is a key component of Neo4j’s broader 2025 regional expansion strategy, which was initiated with the establishment of its official legal entity in India in 2024. The company is actively strengthening its sales and partner teams to meet the escalating demand for graph databases in critical sectors such as banking, financial services and insurance (BFSI), public sector, and telecommunications.
Neo4j’s graph technology is widely recognized for its ability to support complex use cases, including fraud detection, cybersecurity, and customer 360 platforms, by effectively mapping intricate relationships within data.
