London Hosts Scoop AI Hackathon: Pioneering AI Agents in Web3 with SpoonOS

TLDR: The Scoop AI Hackathon has arrived in London, bringing together developers to build the next generation of AI agents and autonomous applications using SpoonOS, a Web3 Agentic Operating System powered by Neo. Co-hosted with Encode Club, the event features a Battle Royale-style format, offering $10,000 in GAS prizes across five tracks, and is part of a larger global initiative to foster AI and blockchain integration.

London is currently at the forefront of the burgeoning ‘Sentient Economy’ with the arrival of the Scoop AI Hackathon, an event dedicated to advancing AI agents and autonomous applications. Co-hosted by Encode Club, a prominent global network for developers, professionals, and students, the hackathon provides a dynamic platform for learning, networking, and high-energy competition. The event, which commenced on November 12, 2025, is a significant stop in a broader global initiative spanning eight cities worldwide, including Moscow, Hanoi, Tokyo, Seoul, Silicon Valley, Hyderabad, and Beijing, concluding in January 2026. The entire series boasts a substantial $100,000 total prize pool, underscoring the increasing importance of integrating AI with blockchain technologies.

Developers participating in the London hackathon are tasked with building innovative solutions using SpoonOS, a cutting-edge Web3 Agentic Operating System. Powered by the Neo blockchain, SpoonOS is designed to enable the creation of AI-driven applications that can operate autonomously within decentralized networks. This technology is seen as crucial for developing the next generation of intelligent systems capable of reasoning, adapting, and interacting in real-time.

The London edition of the hackathon introduces a ‘Battle Royale’-style format, adding an exciting competitive edge. Participants navigate through three checkpoints and elimination rounds, with teams needing to meet specific benchmarks at each stage to advance. Final project submissions are due on December 7 at noon. The competition is structured across five diverse tracks, encouraging wide-ranging innovation: AI for Science, AI for DeFi and Payments, Vibe Coding for Web3, AI Prediction Markets, and AI Agents integrated with Web3. Prizes are generous, totaling $10,000 in GAS, with awards for first, second, and third place, as well as excellence recognitions. This structure aims to stimulate creativity across various applications, from sophisticated AI-driven trading strategies to novel on-chain Web3 experiences.
