The new AI hub will be operated by Freedom Holding Corp., which will also serve as the principal financing and implementation partner for the anticipated $2 billion investment. The Ministry of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Development will play a crucial role by ensuring favorable conditions for hosting and operating these large-scale AI systems. Furthermore, the Ministry is committed to leading talent development programs, including the establishment of an AI Academy and a research lab, to cultivate a skilled workforce of engineers and analysts within the region.
The facility is planned for a site in Kazakhstan with a substantial 100 MW of available power, underscoring the scale and computational demands of the sovereign AI infrastructure.
