Jericho Security, a pioneering cybersecurity firm based in New York, announced on May 7, 2025, the successful closure of a $15 million Series A funding round. Founded in 2023, Jericho Security specializes in AI-powered cybersecurity training solutions designed to combat sophisticated social engineering threats such as conversational phishing and AI-enabled deepfakes. The company’s platform leverages “agentic AI” to create hyper-realistic and personalized attack simulations across various communication channels, including email, voice, and SMS. This innovative approach trains employees to effectively identify and neutralize real-world cyber threats.

Sage Wohns, CEO of Jericho Security, emphasized the evolving nature of cyber threats, stating, “AI-powered phishing threats are getting more personalized, more believable, and more scalable — and that means every organization needs fast, intelligent defenses.” He added, “Phishing isn’t static like templates anymore. It’s dynamic. It learns. It targets. And it won’t be stopped by outdated rules or legacy infrastructure. We knew the future required a new kind of defense — one powered by intelligent, collaborative AI agents that could outlearn and outmaneuver the most sophisticated threats.”

In conjunction with the funding announcement, Jericho Security also unveiled a new self-service experience for its platform, making its advanced conversational phishing simulations accessible to organizations of all sizes. This new offering includes three flexible subscription tiers: Jericho Lite, Jericho Plus, and Jericho Premium. Companies can now initiate a 7-day free trial of Jericho Premium instantly, without the need for sales calls or demos. The platform provides extensive customization options, dynamic threat simulations, and in-depth employee performance insights, all powered by its proprietary conversational agentic AI.

The company’s innovative contributions to cybersecurity were recognized at the RSA Conference 2025, where Jericho Security received four prestigious Global InfoSec Awards from Cyber Defense Magazine. These accolades include: Market Innovator – AI Security Solution, Trailblazer – Anti-Phishing, Most Advanced – Cybersecurity Training, and Trailblazing – Cybersecurity Awareness.

Wohns commented on the awards, stating, “These honors validate what our team has known all along: that next-gen threats require next-gen training. We’re proud to be leading the charge with agentic AI and empowering organizations everywhere to fight back — intelligently, instantly, and at scale.”
