Jamshedpur, October 12, 2025 – The Jamshedpur Management Association (JMA) has announced the launch of a new 14-week Comprehensive Course on Business Analytics and Machine Learning, developed in partnership with the Indian Statistical Institute (ISI), Kolkata, and the Institute of Data Engineering Analytics and Science Foundation (IDA). This initiative aims to equip professionals and aspiring students with a robust foundation in these critical fields.
The program is meticulously designed to offer a blend of theoretical knowledge and practical application. Participants will engage in real-world case examples, undertake capstone projects, and gain hands-on experience with the latest Generative AI and Agentic AI tools. This focus on practical implementation is intended to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry demands.
Dr. Amitab Bataji, JMA’s honorary secretary, highlighted the significance of this collaboration during the launch event. He emphasized the growing demand for analytics skills in the market and the scarcity of high-quality educational programs. “Analytics has become very, very important for professionals to learn and implement in their work,” Dr. Bataji stated, urging widespread participation. He also noted JMA’s successful track record with previous programs conducted in association with ISI, which attracted participants not only from across India but also globally.
Professors Mukaj and Ditendra were also present at the launch, underscoring the academic rigor and expertise brought by ISI Kolkata, a renowned institution in the country. The course represents the third milestone in JMA’s successful collaboration with ISI, building on the positive outcomes of earlier joint ventures.
The JMA anticipates strong enrollment, drawing on the success of its past programs. The association plans to actively market the course to professionals and groups within and outside Jamshedpur, and efforts will be made to connect with corporates and potentially organize webinars or industry visits to enhance the learning experience and ensure a realistic impact.
