Hyderabad, India – September 4, 2025 – Jaggaer, a leading US-based enterprise procurement solutions provider, today announced the inauguration of its new Global Capability Center (GCC) in Hyderabad, India. The state-of-the-art facility was officially launched by Telangana’s IT and Industries Minister, D Sridhar Babu, marking a significant expansion of Jaggaer’s global operations and a substantial boost to Hyderabad’s burgeoning technology ecosystem.
The new GCC is strategically positioned to serve as Jaggaer’s central hub for advanced research and development, particularly focusing on its agentic AI platform, JAI. The Hyderabad team will be instrumental in building cutting-edge tools, including conversational AI support, copilots designed to streamline procurement workflows, and ultimately, autonomous systems operating under human oversight.
Starting with an initial workforce of 180 employees, Jaggaer has ambitious plans to scale the center’s headcount to 500 in the coming years. Beyond AI innovation, the GCC will drive global operations across critical functions such as customer success, software engineering, cloud management, and IT services. Its services will cater to a diverse range of industries, including manufacturing, retail, fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), higher education, and the public sector.
Minister D Sridhar Babu lauded Jaggaer’s investment, emphasizing Hyderabad’s growing appeal to global majors. “Hyderabad continues to attract global majors due to its strong ecosystem of deep-tech startups, AI engineers, and GCCs,” he stated.
