TLDR: Innodata Inc. (NASDAQ: INOD) has significantly increased its full-year 2025 organic revenue growth forecast to at least 45%, up from the previous 40%. This optimistic revision comes on the heels of an exceptional second quarter in 2025, where the data engineering company reported revenues of $58.4 million, marking a 79% year-over-year increase. The strong performance is attributed to substantial new project acquisitions with major technology clients, particularly in the generative AI sector, and a robust expanding deal pipeline.
New York, NY – Innodata Inc. (NASDAQ: INOD), a leading provider of data engineering services, has announced a significant upward revision to its full-year 2025 organic revenue growth target, now projecting at least 45% growth, an increase from its earlier forecast of 40%. This heightened outlook follows a remarkably strong second quarter in 2025, where the company surpassed analyst expectations across key financial metrics.
For the second quarter of 2025, Innodata reported revenues of $58.4 million, representing an impressive 79% increase compared to the same period last year. The company also posted a net income of $7.2 million, or $0.20 per diluted share, a substantial turnaround from a negligible net loss in Q2 2024. Adjusted EBITDA surged by 375% year-over-year to $13.2 million, reflecting enhanced operating leverage and efficient execution. The adjusted gross margin also saw a notable improvement, rising to 43% from 33% a year prior.
CEO Jack Abuhoff emphasized the company’s outstanding performance, stating, “Q2 was another outstanding quarter. We beat analysts’ expectations across the board on key metrics.” He further elaborated on the drivers behind the raised guidance: “Our forecast reflects significant new deals that have been finalized since our last call as well as several deals that we believe are highly likely to close in the near term.” These new project wins include substantial engagements with marquee tech customers, with one new client alone anticipated to contribute $10 million in revenues during the second half of 2025, a significant jump from just $200,000 in the preceding 12 months.
Innodata’s robust pipeline expansion and increased demand from both existing and new big tech customers are key factors underpinning the revised forecast. The company’s largest customer remained a significant revenue contributor, generating $33.9 million in the quarter. Management reaffirmed that this concentration with top accounts is a strategic choice.
The company’s strong financial health is further evidenced by its cash position, which grew sequentially to $59.8 million as of June 30, 2025, with an additional $8 million collected early in July. Innodata’s $30 million credit facility remains undrawn, providing ample flexibility to support future growth initiatives.
Innodata has also garnered recognition for its leadership in the artificial intelligence sector, particularly in generative AI data engineering and services. The company was recently included in Wedbush’s ‘The AI Revolution Theme’ alongside 30 other prominent AI companies and received prestigious awards such as the Asia Best Employer Brand Award and the Golden Globe Tigers Awards for AI Transformation Leadership and Innovation Excellence. This expanding industry leadership is a core component of the company’s growth strategy.
The competitive landscape has also seen shifts, notably with the recent acquisition of competitor Scale AI by Meta. Innodata management acknowledged this development, congratulating Scale AI on its success while highlighting Innodata’s continued momentum.
