ICS Compute and AWS Partner to Drive Generative AI Adoption in Indonesia

TLDR: ICS Compute, an AWS Advanced Partner, has signed a Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to accelerate the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) in Indonesia. This partnership leverages AWS’s advanced AI services and cloud infrastructure with ICS Compute’s Redpumpkin.AI platform to provide secure, scalable, and industry-specific AI solutions.

JAKARTA – ICS Compute, a prominent AWS Advanced Partner in Indonesia, announced a significant Strategic Collaboration Agreement (SCA) with Amazon Web Services, Inc. (AWS) during the AWS Summit event in Jakarta on Thursday, August 7. This strategic alliance is set to significantly accelerate the adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) across Indonesia.

The core of this collaboration involves leveraging AWS’s advanced AI services and robust cloud infrastructure to power ICS Compute’s proprietary Redpumpkin.AI platform. The partnership aims to provide Indonesian businesses with access to AI solutions that are not only safe and measurable but also tailored to specific industry needs.

Budhi Wibawa, Founder of ICS Compute & Redpumpkin, emphasized the foundational role of AWS in their platform, stating, “Redpumpkin.AI built on AWS, so we can help customers innovate safely and responsibly, according to their industrial specific needs.” This commitment underscores a focus on delivering secure and compliant AI solutions.

Under the terms of the SCA, ICS Compute plans to expedite the release of new industry-focused AI agents. These agents will undergo rigorous checks based on AWS’s best practice guidance before being deployed to users as part of the ongoing Redpumpkin.AI innovation project.

AWS, in turn, will work closely with ICS Compute to establish an innovation sandbox. This dedicated environment will facilitate the rapid prototyping and testing of AI solutions in a secure and isolated setting. The sandbox will enable users to thoroughly test GenAI features, integrate them at their own pace, and operate workloads with built-in security and compliance, while also addressing local data residency requirements from the outset.
