TLDR: HubSpot has significantly expanded its platform with more than 200 new features, a substantial portion of which are powered by agentic AI. These additions aim to enhance efficiency and streamline operations across marketing, sales, and customer support teams, particularly benefiting small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs).
HubSpot’s Spring 2025 Spotlight introduced over 200 product updates and features, with a strong emphasis on agentic AI. These enhancements are designed to streamline work across marketing, sales, and support teams, addressing the challenges faced by businesses in keeping up with rapidly changing buyer behavior and the increasing complexity of AI tools.
A key highlight of this release is the introduction and enhancement of “Breeze Agents,” HubSpot’s agentic AI componentry. These AI-powered agents are designed to automate tasks and integrate seamlessly into existing workflows. For instance, the Customer Agent automatically resolves customer queries 24/7, with HubSpot reporting that customers are using it to resolve over 50% of support tickets and spend nearly 40% less time closing tickets. The new Knowledge Base Agent works in conjunction with the Customer Agent to identify and fill knowledge gaps, enhancing self-service options for customers. These agents can learn from unstructured data, including PDFs, Knowledge Base articles, and up to 1,000 pages of a website, and operate across various channels like WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, and email.
Beyond customer support, agentic AI is being embedded throughout the platform to assist with various go-to-market challenges. This includes features like a prospecting agent to identify potential buyers and a social media agent for creating engaging posts. The updates also include enhancements to Marketing Hub Enterprise, such as Lookalike Lists, Journey Automation, and Multi-Account Management, providing deeper control and scalability for companies managing campaigns across multiple locations or brands.
Andy Pitre, Executive Vice President of Product at HubSpot, emphasized the company’s focus on practical AI solutions for SMBs. He stated, “SMBs don’t need more AI hype—they need technology that helps. The products we’re launching at the Spring 2025 Spotlight are helping teams move fast on AI and solve their go-to-market challenges. We’ve embedded AI throughout our entire platform so businesses of any size can start seeing value immediately, without massive teams or budgets.”
HubSpot’s strategy is to build a unified, AI-powered platform that supports sales, marketing, and customer operations from a single system, rather than offering standalone AI features. This approach aims to reduce the friction of AI adoption for smaller businesses that may lack dedicated operations or data teams. HubSpot Ventures, the company’s investment arm, is also actively funding startups that further agentic AI, indicating a long-term commitment to this technology.

This move signifies HubSpot’s commitment to making advanced AI capabilities accessible and beneficial for businesses of all sizes.
