TLDR: HubSpot has launched the first CRM connector for Anthropic’s Claude AI assistant, allowing Claude to generate tailored answers, summaries, and visualizations based on HubSpot CRM data. This integration empowers marketing, sales, support, and customer success teams to gain actionable insights and take direct action within the HubSpot platform, enhancing efficiency and decision-making.
HubSpot announced on July 29, 2025, the release of its first CRM connector for Anthropic’s Claude AI assistant, marking a significant step in integrating advanced artificial intelligence with customer relationship management. This new connector enables Claude to leverage unique customer context from HubSpot CRM data to generate highly tailored answers, summaries, and visualizations.
According to Karen Ng, EVP and Head of Product at HubSpot, the connector makes Claude more useful by ‘grounding its responses in real context from their business.’ She further stated, ‘It’s a simple, powerful way to get insights you can trust, wherever you work. And it’s another step in making advanced AI accessible to every business.’
The integration allows various go-to-market teams to streamline their workflows. Marketing teams can ask Claude to identify contacts who opened an email but didn’t click through, and then generate a pie chart for follow-up segmentation. Sales teams can request summaries of active deals, organized by name, amount, and stage, and sorted by closing date to prioritize their efforts. Support representatives can manage open tickets by asking for them to be sorted by priority and creation date, while customer success teams can compare resolution approaches and outcomes across different support channels.
Scott White, Head of Product for Claude.ai, commented that ‘Claude is designed to reason through complex questions and deliver thoughtful, conversational answers.’ He added, ‘With the HubSpot connector, customers can bring their real-time CRM context into Claude, making it more valuable for HubSpot-powered teams looking to gain insight and take action.’
HubSpot has emphasized data privacy and security with this integration. The company stated that the connector is built to ensure users only see the CRM data they are permitted to access. Furthermore, Anthropic will not use the data shared through HubSpot to train its models, except in specific instances where a customer opts to provide feedback or explicitly consents to training.

This connector is available now to all HubSpot customers across all tiers (Pro, Max, Team, or Enterprise) who also have a paid Claude subscription. This initiative is part of HubSpot’s broader strategy to integrate AI into its platform, following a similar deep research connector launched for OpenAI’s ChatGPT in June.
