Kawasaki, Japan – August 19, 2025 – Fujitsu today announced a significant expansion of its artificial intelligence capabilities through a new licensing agreement with Palantir Technologies Japan. The agreement, formally signed on August 5, 2025, grants Fujitsu the right to provide the Palantir Artificial Intelligence Platform (Palantir AIP) to its extensive customer base, initially across Japan, with plans for global rollout during fiscal year 2025.
This collaboration marks a pivotal step in integrating advanced generative AI into enterprise operations. Palantir AIP is designed to facilitate the rapid implementation of generative AI functionalities for sophisticated data analysis and informed decision-making within organizations. The platform offers flexibility, allowing its use with preferred large language models (LLMs) within corporate networks, and has seen widespread adoption in highly confidential sectors such as finance and defense due to its robust security features.
The partnership builds upon an existing strategic alliance between Fujitsu and Palantir, which commenced in 2020 with a focus on data integration and digital transformation in the Japanese market. In 2023, the companies solidified their global ties with an agreement that granted Fujitsu marketing and distribution rights for Palantir Foundry, a platform for integrated management of large-scale, dispersed data. The integration of Palantir AIP with Palantir Foundry is expected to create a powerful synergy, enabling customers to design and develop generative AI and AI agent systems in a fraction of the time traditionally required.
Fujitsu intends to combine Palantir AIP with its Fujitsu Uvance business model, which is dedicated to solving societal issues and driving business transformation. This integration will empower customers to optimize supply chains, automate business workflows, and enhance executive decision-making processes. Fujitsu currently leverages its operational expertise with Palantir Foundry to optimize operations in areas such as supply chain and engineering, and the addition of AIP will further bolster these offerings.
From a financial perspective, Fujitsu aims to achieve sales of USD 100 million by the end of fiscal 2029 through this enhanced partnership.
