FourKites, a leading supply chain visibility platform, has announced significant advancements to its platform with the introduction of new AI-powered digital workers and an innovative analytics solution. These enhancements are designed to revolutionize supply chain efficiency, particularly for its European customers.
The company has made generally available three new digital workers: Alan, Polly, and Cassie. These new additions join the existing digital workforce members, Sam and Tracie, with another digital worker, Didi, slated for future release. These AI agents are engineered to automate routine tasks, streamline operations, and provide consistent service levels while managing operational costs effectively. According to Jimmy Sebastian, Vice President of AI Products at FourKites, these agents enable supply chain organizations to ‘scale document compliance and customer service functions without proportional headcount increases, and transform routine operational challenges into automated workflows.’ This strategic move empowers human teams to focus on higher-impact, strategic activities.
FourKites’ existing digital workers, Tracie (for tracking and tracing) and Sam (for supplier onboarding and collaboration), have already demonstrated substantial benefits since their launch in February. Customers have reported handling over 85% of shipment exceptions and achieving more than a 15% improvement in on-time delivery performance. A notable secondary benefit has been a reduction in global inventory holdings. The new agents, Alan, Polly, and Cassie, are specifically designed to address critical pain points in supply chain management, including appointment booking, document compliance, and customer service – areas often time-consuming, prone to errors, and difficult to scale due to labor shortages.
In addition to the digital workers, FourKites has launched FourSight, a new AI-powered analytics solution. FourSight allows users to explore historical supply chain data through a natural language interface, supporting 24 languages. This eliminates the need for SQL knowledge and reduces reliance on numerous spreadsheets, making data insights more accessible. Once insights are generated, dashboards and reports can be shared across the FourKites platform, ensuring visibility for authorized users.
