Evertune AI Secures $15 Million Series A Funding with Backing from OpenAI and Google Investors to Revolutionize AI Marketing

TLDR: Evertune AI, a generative engine optimization (GEO) and AI marketing platform founded by former Trade Desk executives, has successfully raised $15 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Felicis Ventures and saw participation from angel investors associated with tech giants like OpenAI, Google, Uber, and Meta. This capital injection will fuel the expansion of Evertune’s AI marketing suite, helping brands optimize their presence and visibility across the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-powered search and discovery models.

Evertune AI, an innovative generative engine optimization (GEO) and AI marketing platform, has announced the successful closure of a $15 million Series A funding round. The investment was spearheaded by Felicis Ventures, with significant angel contributions from current and former executives at leading technology companies, including David Azose and Sonia Phene from OpenAI (Phene was at OpenAI when she initially invested), as well as investors from Google, Uber, and Meta. This substantial funding underscores a growing recognition of the transformative impact of artificial intelligence on consumer discovery and marketing.

Founded by former executives from The Trade Desk, including CEO and co-founder Brian Stempeck, Evertune AI is positioned to address a critical challenge for brands in the age of AI. As consumer journeys increasingly begin with prompts to AI models like ChatGPT and Gemini, rather than traditional search engines, brands face the imperative of ensuring their accurate and favorable representation within AI-generated answers, overviews, and recommendations.

“Most people in the AI space spoke to brands and agencies about cost cutting, time saving and efficiencies, but not many talked about how consumers find their brands,” stated Brian Stempeck. He emphasized that the Series A funding will enable Evertune to expand its AI marketing suite, empowering brands to enhance their visibility across various AI-powered search models.

Evertune’s unique approach, which it terms Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), involves generating over 100,000 questions to various AI models per brand. This rigorous process collects a statistically significant amount of data to understand how these models perceive a brand, its products, and its competitors. The platform prioritizes direct, API-level access to major AI model providers such as OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, Meta, Perplexity, and DeepSeek, ensuring comprehensive and precise AI visibility data.

“Marketing leaders can’t ignore AI’s transformative impact on consumer discovery and purchasing,” Stempeck added. “As AI models and services continuously evolve, brand measurement must be equally dynamic. Evertune’s platform helps leaders analyze and optimize brand presence across the AI landscape. We provide brands with strategic insights that drive scalable results.” The insights provided go beyond simple visibility, analyzing sentiment, key attributes, and the language AI models use to describe a brand, offering a data-driven roadmap for content strategy. Companies like Canada Goose are already leveraging Evertune’s platform.

Peter Deng, Partner at Felicis Ventures and a former product leader at ChatGPT, commented on the investment, saying, “Evertune is ahead of the market in adapting to the downstream evolutions that AI systems will create in consumer behavior. Their deep commitment to technological precision provides an essential bridge between enterprises and AI platforms.”

The new funding will accelerate the development of Evertune’s comprehensive AI marketing suite. This expansion will extend beyond current AI search optimization to address the full spectrum of AI-driven consumer touchpoints, including developing solutions for emerging advertising formats within AI models, preparing for anticipated AI commerce capabilities, and creating tools for navigating the evolution of AI agents that will eventually make purchasing decisions on behalf of users. Stempeck believes that AI will become as important to brands as social media, influencing content, e-commerce, and advertising strategies.
