The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Networking (ICAIN-2025) successfully concluded its run on October 6th and 7th, 2025, at the Global Summit, where the prestigious ElevateX Awards 2025 were presented. These awards were established to honor exceptional contributions across the spectrum of Artificial Intelligence, technology, and crucial cross-sector collaboration, highlighting those who are at the forefront of driving transformative change in these dynamic fields.
The ElevateX Awards 2025 were meticulously organized by BITS Pilani, Dubai Campus, in association with the Indian Institute of Information Technology, Allahabad, and received significant support from Springer LNNS. The event’s overarching theme, ‘Academic Brilliance Meets Industrial Excellence,’ underscored the vital intersection of cutting-edge academic research and practical industrial application, fostering a platform for showcasing the incredible potential of AI in advancing societal and technological progress.
The selection process for the ElevateX Awards was rigorous and merit-based, ensuring that only the most impactful and innovative contributions were recognized. A highly selective group, comprising just the top 5–7% of nominees, was chosen across various categories.
Among the distinguished awardees were several notable individuals:
Kallol Kanti Mondal from the Institute of Biological Sciences, University of Rajshahi, Bangladesh, received the Breakthrough in Health Sciences Award (Global Biomedical Pioneer) for his pioneering research in the biomedical field.
Md Hossain from California State University, Northridge, USA, was honored with the Young Researcher Excellence Award (Global Research Star Category) for his groundbreaking work in digital twin technology, additive manufacturing, and blockchain, all of which are advancing the future of smart industries and digital innovation.
Numair Bin Sharif from Lamar University, Texas, USA, also earned the Young Researcher Excellence Award (Global Research Star Category) for his impactful contributions to AI in healthcare and cybersecurity, areas that are transforming the medical and security landscapes.
Jaya Vardhani Mamidala was recognized with the AI-Driven Cloud Transformation Excellence Award.
Mahadev A. Gawas received the Young Researcher Excellence Award – Global Research Star.
Sheshang Degadwala and Anala Venkata Sai Abhishek were both awarded the Best Researcher Award (Global Research Trailblazer).
Anil Kumar Verma was celebrated as the Global Diversity Champion in Academia – Global Inclusion Advocate.
Aniruddha Arjun Singh received the AI-Driven Transformation Excellence Award.
Anupam Agrawal was honored with the Sustainable Innovation Award – Global Green Researcher.
Arnab Saha and Balavignesh Vemparala both received the Young Researcher Excellence Award – Global Research Star, AI & Data Science Impact Award.
Chandra Sekhar Kubam was presented with the Global Excellence Award in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
Diana George was recognized with the Women in Research award.
