Doosan Robotics’ ‘Scan&Go’ AI Robot Solution Secures Dual Innovation Honors at CES 2026

TLDR: Doosan Robotics has announced that its ‘Scan&Go’ AI robot solution has been recognized with both the Best of Innovation Award in the AI category and an Innovation Award in the Robotics category at the upcoming CES 2026. This advanced platform integrates a robot arm with an autonomous mobile robot, leveraging physics-informed AI and 3D vision for precise, autonomous inspection and surface treatment of large, complex structures.

Doosan Robotics, a leading innovator in robotics, has achieved significant recognition ahead of CES 2026, the world’s largest electronics and IT exhibition. The company’s groundbreaking ‘Scan&Go’ AI robot solution has been honored with two prestigious accolades: the Best of Innovation Award in the Artificial Intelligence category and an Innovation Award in the Robotics category. These awards are presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) to products demonstrating exceptional technology and innovation, with the ‘Best of Innovation’ being a highly selective honor awarded to only one or two companies per category.

Unveiled on November 6, 2025, ‘Scan&Go’ represents a significant leap in industrial automation. It is an integrated platform that combines a sophisticated robot arm with an autonomous mobile robot (AMR). This synergy is powered by physics-informed AI and advanced 3D vision technology, enabling the system to perform a variety of complex tasks autonomously. The solution is designed to scan the surfaces of large composite structures, such as turbine blades, aircraft fuselages, and building exteriors. Following the scan, it intelligently generates optimal work paths and executes precise operations including inspection, sanding, and grinding.

One of the key advantages of ‘Scan&Go’ is its ‘Plug & Play’ functionality, which eliminates the need for creating separate design drawings for intricate tasks, thereby significantly reducing preparation time and enhancing productivity. The system boasts an impressive working precision of 0.1 mm. Furthermore, it incorporates torque sensors on the six axes of the robot arm, allowing for real-time force control even when encountering varying work surfaces. This ensures consistent quality and adaptability across diverse industrial applications. Doosan Robotics has also ensured industry-leading safety standards for ‘Scan&Go’, achieving PLe and Cat4 certifications.
