TLDR: Digi Power X has secured Supermicro’s NVIDIA B200 systems to power its new NeoCloud Tier 3 AI infrastructure platform. These AI-ready modular data center pods, featuring cutting-edge Blackwell B200 GPUs, are set for initial deployment in Alabama by Q4 2025. The strategic move aims to generate significant recurring revenue through GPU cloud rentals, with expansion financed via non-dilutive debt, targeting a rapid payback period. The company also plans for future integration of NVIDIA B300 chips.
Digi Power X Inc. (NASDAQ: DGXX) has announced a significant strategic advancement, securing a definitive purchase order with Super Micro Computer, Inc. (NASDAQ: SMCI) for NVIDIA B200-powered systems. This acquisition is pivotal for the launch of Digi Power X’s NeoCloud, a Tier 3 AI infrastructure platform designed to meet the escalating demands of generative AI applications.
The newly acquired Supermicro systems, pre-qualified for NVIDIA’s powerful Blackwell B200 GPUs, will be integrated into Digi Power X’s proprietary ARMS 200 (AI-Ready Modular Solution) pods. These modular Tier 3 data center pods are engineered to be AI-ready and highly scalable, capable of expanding from an initial 0.5 megawatts (MW) up to 55MW at their Alabama site. The first live deployment is slated for the fourth quarter of 2025.
Michel Amar, CEO of Digi Power X, emphasized the significance of this milestone, stating, “This marks a defining moment in our journey.” He added, “With Supermicro’s advanced B200 systems, we are now taking the steps to transition from infrastructure buildout to revenue generation. Our goal is to deliver Tier 3 AI-ready capacity equipped with the world’s most powerful GPUs for the generative AI era.”
Edward Karr of Digi Power X further elaborated on the scalability, noting, “We can start very small, maybe half a megawatt, and scale all the way up to our Alabama capacity of 55MW.” The company’s expansion roadmap includes developing a total of 55MW of Tier 3 AI infrastructure by 2026-2027, with plans to deploy ARMS 200 systems in Upstate New York locations following the initial Alabama rollout.
Digi Power X aims to generate substantial recurring revenue through GPU cloud rentals, which will be facilitated via their NeoCloud portal. To finance this ambitious growth, the company plans to utilize non-dilutive debt, targeting an impressive sub-three-year payback period. This financing strategy underscores confidence in the platform’s ability to generate significant returns.
