Paris, France – April 10, 2025 – Global business and technology transformation leader Capgemini, in collaboration with French venture capital firm ISAI, today announced the launch of ISAI Cap Venture II, an €80 million investment vehicle designed to accelerate the growth of high-potential B2B startups and scale-ups worldwide. This new fund follows the successful trajectory of ISAI Cap Venture I, which was established in 2019.
ISAI Cap Venture II is structured to leverage the distinct strengths of both partners: ISAI’s profound venture capital acumen and Capgemini Ventures’ proven capability to generate significant business synergies between emerging companies and Capgemini’s vast global ecosystem. The fund will primarily take minority stakes, with investment tickets ranging from €1 million to €5 million, in companies that have reached a maturity level suitable for joint commercial initiatives with Capgemini. Investments will span from Series A to growth-stage rounds, aligning with leading international VC firms, particularly across Europe.
Lucia Sinapi-Thomas, Executive Director, Capgemini Ventures, commented on the launch, stating, “Our unique model with ISAI has established Capgemini Ventures as a trusted player in the VC ecosystem. By launching ISAI Cap Venture II, we will continue to develop joint value propositions with selected startups, thus accelerating and enabling the adoption of the most promising digital innovations and emerging technologies for Capgemini clients.”
Jean-David Chamboredon, Chief Executive Officer, ISAI, emphasized the effectiveness of their corporate-VC model: “Our first fund demonstrated that startups can benefit from a corporate partner while maintaining the flexibility they need to grow. With ISAI Cap Venture II, we reaffirm our commitment to backing the most innovative technology startups and helping them scale with Capgemini’s business partnerships.”
The predecessor fund, ISAI Cap Venture I, successfully built a diverse international portfolio of 15 companies, co-investing alongside top-tier international VC firms. Notable past investments include Alation, a data intelligence platform provider; Zelros, which focuses on transforming insurance distribution; and Copado, a DevOps platform built for Salesforce. The fund also strategically invested in next-generation technologies poised to shape the future of business, such as Liquid AI, a generative AI model utilizing Liquid Neural Networks (LNNs), and Pasqal, a pioneer in quantum computing. These investments align with Capgemini’s strategic priorities, enriching its service portfolio and strengthening partner relationships to guide clients through their business and technology transformations.
