TLDR: Bloomreach and Uniform have jointly unveiled a new turnkey AI solution for conversational commerce at the MACH Alliance AI Hackathon. This framework, leveraging generative AI and composable technology, aims to empower brands to create dynamic conversational experiences and enhance customer relationships, with a goal for production readiness by late 2025.
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif. – October 22, 2025 – Leading personalization platform Bloomreach and composable digital experience platform Uniform have announced the unveiling of a groundbreaking turnkey AI solution for conversational commerce. The innovative framework was showcased at the MACH Alliance’s inaugural AI Hackathon, held from October 21-22, an event dedicated to fostering AI-first solutions within the composable commerce community.
The newly introduced solution is designed to seamlessly integrate composable technology with generative AI, enabling brands to develop sophisticated conversational experiences that allow them to maintain greater control over their customer relationships. This initiative is powered by the Open Data Model from the MACH Alliance, underscoring a commitment to open, modular, and API-driven architectures.
The MACH Alliance AI Hackathon serves as a critical platform for collaborative innovation, bringing together specialized teams to tackle complex use cases prevalent in the MACH community. The event builds upon the momentum generated by the MACH AI Exchange, launched earlier in April, with a strategic focus on accelerating MACH adoption across various organizations. Research indicates that MACH-mature organizations are twice as likely to successfully deploy AI compared to those new to the MACH principles.
Xun Wang, CTO of Bloomreach, emphasized the significance of this collaborative effort, stating, “This hackathon represents exactly the kind of collaborative innovation that drives our industry forward. I am looking forward to working closely with our customers to build a new innovative solution on top of our AI-powered Bloomreach platforms in order to solve problems like cross-brand recommendations and product discovery.” The teams at the hackathon are working under a demanding schedule to develop proof-of-concepts, which are slated for showcase at the MACH X Conference in October, with an ambitious target of achieving production readiness by the close of 2025.
