Axelera AI, a leading innovator in purpose-built artificial intelligence (AI) inference acceleration technology, has licensed Arteris’ advanced FlexNoC 5 interconnect IP. This technology will be instrumental in the development of Axelera AI’s latest project, the Europa platform, marking an expansion of their product line from edge computing to data center applications.
The Europa platform is engineered to deliver high performance within a power-efficient framework, supporting a wide array of AI workloads, from sophisticated computer vision tasks to complex generative AI models.
Arteris’ FlexNoC 5 interconnect IP is critical to this endeavor, offering high bandwidth, low latency, and exceptional scalability required to optimize Axelera AI’s Europa platform. The technology incorporates integrated physical awareness, which enables engineering teams to streamline their design processes while simultaneously reducing both area and power consumption – factors that are paramount for demanding AI applications.
