AI SPERA’s Criminal IP Platform Expands Cybersecurity Reach into Southern Europe via DotForce Partnership

TLDR: Criminal IP, an AI-powered threat intelligence and attack surface management (ASM) platform developed by AI SPERA, has officially launched its operations in the Southern European market. This strategic expansion is facilitated through a partnership with DotForce, a leading cybersecurity distributor based in Italy, and aims to provide advanced cybersecurity solutions to enterprises and public institutions across the region, including Spain and Portugal. The move comes amidst a backdrop of increasingly sophisticated cyberattacks in Europe, with Criminal IP leveraging its extensive threat intelligence infrastructure to enhance regional defenses.

AI SPERA, a prominent developer in AI-powered Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) solutions, has announced the official entry of its flagship platform, Criminal IP, into the Southern European cybersecurity market. This strategic expansion is a result of a new partnership with DotForce, a premier cybersecurity distributor headquartered in Italy. The collaboration is set to extend Criminal IP’s advanced capabilities to a wide array of enterprises and public institutions across Southern Europe, specifically targeting Spain and Portugal, with future plans for broader regional distribution.

Criminal IP is an AI-powered threat intelligence and attack surface management (ASM) platform designed to provide real-time visibility into external assets and bolster resilience against evolving cyber threats. DotForce, known for its robust network of system integrator partners and its history of supporting major European enterprises and government agencies, will integrate Criminal IP into its offerings.

The expansion is particularly timely given the escalating sophistication of cyberattacks in Europe. Italy, for instance, has been identified as one of the top three European markets for illicit network access trading. A notable ransomware attack in 2021 compromised data from 76 Italian enterprises, underscoring the critical need for more proactive national and organizational defense strategies.

Byungtak Kang, CEO of AI SPERA, emphasized the significance of this partnership, stating, ‘Partnering with DotForce marks a pivotal milestone for Criminal IP in Europe. This collaboration validates our technology in one of the world’s most advanced security markets and accelerates our integration into the regional ecosystem.’ He further added that AI SPERA aims for 50 global partnerships and will continue expanding into emerging markets like Southeast Asia and Africa, solidifying Criminal IP’s position as a truly global security platform.

Criminal IP boasts a formidable infrastructure, backed by a 44-petabyte threat intelligence system and over 1,000 servers, continuously monitoring 4.3 billion IP addresses worldwide. The platform is delivered as a cloud-based Security-as-a-Service (SECaaS), ensuring rapid deployment and offering safe, always-on scanning technology. Its core solutions include Criminal IP for real-time cyber threat intelligence on global domains and IP addresses through high-precision OSINT analytics, and Criminal IP ASM for automatically discovering and monitoring exposed digital assets.
