TLDR: The 2025 Nhan tai Dat Viet Awards, themed ‘AI and Big Data – Breakthrough Technologies,’ celebrated AI-powered products, though no first prizes were awarded in the highly anticipated Digital Technology category. Three second prizes were distributed instead, highlighting the growing impact of AI in Vietnam’s digital transformation efforts.
Hanoi, Vietnam – October 28, 2025 – The 2025 Nhan tai Dat Viet (Vietnamese Talent) Awards ceremony, held on the evening of October 27 in Hanoi and broadcast live on VTV1, underscored the nation’s commitment to artificial intelligence and digital transformation. This 18th edition of the prestigious awards adopted the theme ‘AI and Big Data – Breakthrough Technologies,’ aligning with Resolution 57 on science, technology, innovation, and national digital transformation.
Despite high expectations, the Digital Technology category, considered the heart of the awards, did not see any first-prize winners. Instead, the jury awarded a total of three second prizes across its ‘Successful Digital Products’ and ‘Promising Digital Products’ sub-categories. This outcome reflects the rigorous evaluation standards of the competition, which seeks to highlight exceptional talent across three pillars: science, technology, and innovation.
The awards, launched in 2004 by the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education with VNPT as the main organizer and sponsor, have become a significant platform for recognizing advancements in science and technology. This year, the competition received 168 digital technology entries, with 17 projects making it to the final round after a stringent screening process.
One notable example among the recognized innovations is ‘ClaUto,’ an AI-powered educational product. Inspired by real-life classroom experiences, ClaUto leverages artificial intelligence, learning data, and deep user insights to personalize and enhance the educational journey for students.
The Nhan tai Dat Viet Awards are structured into five key fields: Digital Technology, Medicine and Pharmacy, Youth Innovation, Lifelong Learning and Self-Education, and Contribution to Society. The continued emphasis on Digital Technology reflects Vietnam’s aspirations toward building a secure and sustainable digital nation.
