Aditya Birla Capital Ltd (ABCL) made a significant announcement at the Global Fintech Fest (GFF) 2025, unveiling a new suite of AI-powered innovations integrated into its flagship Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) platform, ABCD. This strategic move underscores the company’s commitment to simplifying financial services and providing intelligent, highly personalized customer experiences across both digital and physical touchpoints.
Pankaj Gadgil, Head – Digital Platforms and Payments Strategy at Aditya Birla Capital, highlighted the company’s pioneering efforts, stating, “Digital transformation is a strategic differentiator for us at ABCL. While few financial institutions have moved beyond proof-of-concept to full-scale deployment of GenAI applications, we are proud to be among the first movers deploying it at scale.” He further emphasized the vision to cultivate a future-ready, scalable enterprise that prioritizes intelligence, foresight, and customer-centricity.
The newly introduced Generative AI tools are designed to democratize business intelligence and AI capabilities across various teams within ABCL. The suite includes:
Sales Assist: This tool is engineered to boost sales team productivity through AI-powered training modules, realistic role-play simulations, and real-time product support, ensuring sales personnel are well-equipped and informed.
Service Assist: Aimed at empowering contact center agents, Service Assist streamlines query handling processes and generates precise scripts, leading to quicker and more efficient resolution of customer inquiries.
Audit Assist & Marketing Assist: These tools focus on automating workflows, significantly reducing turnaround times, and enhancing accuracy in audit procedures and marketing campaigns.

ABCL’s digital platforms have demonstrated robust growth and improved operational efficiency. The ABCD app currently serves an impressive 6.4 million customers, while the Udyog Plus platform boasts over 2.4 million registrations, managing assets worth ₹3,658 crore. Between the fiscal years 2022 and 2025, Aditya Birla Capital reported substantial growth across its core businesses. The lending portfolio, encompassing its NBFC and housing finance arms, expanded at a remarkable 33 percent Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR), surging from ₹67,185 crore to ₹1,57,404 crore. Similarly, gross premiums from its health and life insurance businesses witnessed a 23 percent CAGR, growing from ₹13,867 crore to ₹25,579 crore. The company’s total assets under management (AUM) also climbed significantly, from ₹3,70,618 crore to ₹5,11,260 crore, reflecting the successful execution of its unified digital and business strategy to scale operations and deliver enhanced value across its extensive financial ecosystem.
