Bengaluru, India – September 24, 2025 – The highly anticipated World AI Summit 2025 is poised to kick off tomorrow, September 25, in Bengaluru, India’s vibrant technology hub. This two-day international conference, running until September 26, is organized by Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd. in collaboration with the Department of Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka, serving as the Host Partner. The India AI Mission is a Co-Host Partner, and the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (KDEM) is a Strategic Partner, with NxtGen Cloud Technologies Private Limited as the Presenting Partner.
The summit is expected to draw over 150 global speakers and more than 1000 key stakeholders, including prominent AI leaders, policymakers, innovators, and industry pioneers from around the world.
Leadership and Vision
Dr. Ekroop Caur, IAS, Secretary of the Department of Electronics, Information Technology, Biotechnology, and Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka, is guiding the summit as its Programme Mentor. Shri Priyank Kharge, Hon’ble Minister of Electronics, IT & Biotechnology and Rural Development & Panchayat Raj, Government of Karnataka, will grace the event as the Chief Guest.

Day-wise Schedule
Day 1, September 25, will commence with a welcome address by Dr. Ravi Gupta, Founder & CEO, Elets Technomedia Pvt. Ltd., followed by a keynote from Rahul Sharanappa Sankanur, IAS, Director, Department of Electronics, IT, Biotechnology & Science & Technology, Government of Karnataka. The inaugural session, ‘AI’s Next Frontier – From Local Ecosystem to Global Powerhouse,’ will examine how regional AI ecosystems are expanding to foster a globally competitive environment.
Day 2, September 26, will shift focus to advanced AI applications, commercialization strategies, and investment opportunities. Keynote speakers for the second day include Sharad Sharma, Co-Founder of iSpirit; Sahil Kini, CEO of the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH); Prof. Bharadwaj Amrutur, Executive Director & Chief Technologist at ARTPARK, IISc; Inder Gopal, Chairman of the Centre for Data for Public Good and Research Professor at IISc; and Anand Sri Ganesh, CEO of NSRCEL, IIM Bangalore.
Supporting Regional Innovation
The summit also aligns with Karnataka’s Local Empowerment through Accelerated Program (LEAP), a ₹1,000 crore initiative aimed at decentralizing growth and expanding startup ecosystems beyond Bengaluru. This program seeks to transform cities like Mysuru, Mangaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad, and Kalaburagi into innovation hubs, creating 5 lakh jobs and fostering entrepreneurship. LEAP’s focus on startups, including a ₹300 crore Fund-of-Funds and a ₹100 crore DeepTech Corpus Fund, presents significant opportunities for summit participants to engage with emerging ecosystems and unlock new ventures.
