Accenture Ventures Invests in CLIKA to Advance Intelligent Edge AI Capabilities

TLDR: Accenture has made a strategic investment in CLIKA, an AI compression platform company, through Accenture Ventures. This collaboration aims to accelerate the global deployment of high-performance AI on edge devices, addressing challenges like deployment complexity and infrastructure strain. CLIKA’s proprietary SDK optimizes AI models for various hardware, enabling efficient AI execution on devices not originally designed for it. CLIKA will also join Accenture Ventures’ Project Spotlight.

NEW YORK – August 21, 2025 – Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has announced a strategic investment in CLIKA, a high-performance AI compression platform company, through its Accenture Ventures arm. This investment is set to significantly expand Accenture’s intelligent edge and infrastructure engineering capabilities, thereby fast-tracking the deployment of artificial intelligence (AI) on edge devices globally.

The surging demand for edge AI has presented enterprises with considerable challenges, including deployment complexity, strain on existing infrastructure, and a fragmented hardware landscape. CLIKA’s innovative unified platform directly tackles these issues by simplifying the process of optimizing and deploying AI to a diverse range of edge devices, such as smartphones, IoT endpoints, autonomous vehicles, and industrial robotics.

Through this strategic collaboration, Accenture and CLIKA will work together to build enterprise-ready edge AI offerings, ensuring secure and scalable deployments. This partnership is expected to bring high-performance, compact AI models to real-world devices across various industries, unlocking new strategic advantages and business opportunities for clients worldwide.

Raj Wickramasinghe, global lead for Infrastructure Engineering at Accenture, emphasized the critical role of edge computing in the modern AI lifecycle. “Edge computing is now a critical part of the AI lifecycle. Today’s enterprises need seamless intelligence at the edge,” said Wickramasinghe. “Through this investment and collaboration, we can bring CLIKA’s technology—which allows intelligent models to run on devices not originally designed for AI—to our enterprise clients, delivering the efficiency and precision needed to make edge AI practical and scalable.”

At the core of CLIKA’s offering is its proprietary software development kit (SDK). This advanced SDK automatically compresses and optimizes AI models for a wide array of hardware targets, including CPUs and low-power devices. Each deployment is uniquely tuned for its specific environment, ensuring optimal speed and accuracy without requiring extensive manual intervention or customization.

Nayul Lina Kim, co-founder and CEO of CLIKA, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. “At CLIKA, we believe powerful AI belongs on everyday devices,” stated Kim. “This investment and collaboration with Accenture Ventures allow us to bring that vision to life, offering enterprises a smooth and efficient way to deploy AI in real-world, real-time scenarios where it can make the biggest impact.”

Tom Lounibos, global lead for Accenture Ventures, highlighted the strategic value of the investment. “The rapid growth of AI—and the complexity that comes with—demands faster, simpler and smarter deployment,” Lounibos noted. “With this investment, we are providing CLIKA with strategic market access to enterprise clients, teaming to deploy advanced models at the edge and put intelligence where it matters most.”
