TLDR: OpenText has joined the HPE Unleash AI partner program, expanding its collaboration with Hewlett Packard Enterprise to deliver pre-validated, secure, and scalable AI solutions via HPE Private Cloud AI. This strategic partnership aims to accelerate enterprise AI adoption, addressing critical concerns such as data privacy and compliance, and is positioned to capitalize on the rapidly growing global AI market.

WATERLOO, ON – OpenText (NASDAQ: OTEX), a global leader in information management, announced on August 20, 2025, its expanded collaboration with Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) by officially joining the HPE Unleash AI partner program. This strategic move is designed to significantly accelerate enterprise AI adoption by delivering pre-validated, secure, and scalable artificial intelligence solutions.

The core of this powerful collaboration lies in bringing enterprise-ready AI industry solutions to market more rapidly through the combined capabilities of OpenTextâ„¢ Aviator AI solutions and HPE Private Cloud AI. HPE Private Cloud AI is described as a ‘turnkey enterprise AI factory’ that is part of the NVIDIA AI Computing by HPE portfolio, co-developed with NVIDIA.

Robin Braun, Vice President of AI Business Development for Hybrid Cloud at HPE, emphasized the program’s objective, stating, ‘The Unleash AI program empowers innovative software partners like OpenText to simplify AI deployment and accelerate the impact of real-world AI outcomes.’ Braun further elaborated that this partnership delivers AI solutions that integrate ‘deep industry expertise with secure, scalable private AI infrastructure—helping organizations unlock the power of their data to transform how they work.’

The collaboration is poised to address tangible business challenges through AI, including enhancing decision-making processes, automating complex workflows, and improving customer experiences. A key focus remains on maintaining stringent data privacy and compliance standards throughout these transformations.

Key benefits highlighted by the companies include a faster time-to-market for AI initiatives, facilitated by pre-validated solutions on turnkey private AI infrastructure. Clients will also benefit from flexible deployment options, allowing AI solutions to be deployed on-premises, at the edge, or in colocation facilities, thereby ensuring data sovereignty and predictable costs. Furthermore, the integrated solutions promise enhanced data intelligence, enabling enterprises to effectively organize and analyze both structured and unstructured data to optimize AI outcomes, alongside stronger security and compliance measures to protect data and proactively detect threats.

Technologically, the partnership involves the integration of HPE Alletra Storage MP X10000 with the OpenText Analytics Database. This integration is set to provide a robust foundation for real-time analytics and scalable storage, crucial for demanding AI and machine learning workloads.

Sandy Ono, Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at OpenText, underscored the significance of this alliance, noting that OpenText is ‘among a select group of AI leaders included in HPE’s Unleash AI program.’

This strategic positioning comes at a time of significant growth in the AI sector, with Precedence Research projecting the global AI market to reach an impressive $3.68 trillion by 2034. OpenText and HPE are actively targeting various industries with their joint AI offerings, including healthcare, finance, manufacturing, and retail, aiming to meet the burgeoning demand for AI solutions in competitive markets.
