StackGen Acquires OpsVerse to Bolster Autonomous Infrastructure with Agentic AI DevOps Automation

TLDR: StackGen, a leader in autonomous infrastructure technology, has acquired OpsVerse, a prominent provider of Agentic AI-powered DevOps automation solutions. This strategic move integrates OpsVerse’s flagship product, Aiden, an intelligent DevOps Copilot, into StackGen’s platform, accelerating its vision for fully autonomous, self-managing infrastructure through enhanced AI agent capabilities.

SAN FRANCISCO – August 20, 2025 – StackGen, a pioneering force in autonomous infrastructure technology, today announced its acquisition of OpsVerse, a leading provider of Agentic AI-powered DevOps automation solutions. This strategic acquisition is set to significantly accelerate StackGen’s vision of achieving truly autonomous infrastructure by integrating OpsVerse’s proven AI capabilities directly into its platform.

The centerpiece of this acquisition is OpsVerse’s flagship product, Aiden, an intelligent DevOps Copilot. Aiden leverages agentic AI to automate operations and deliver actionable insights, and will now become a core component of StackGen’s expanding AI agent ecosystem.

Sachin Aggarwal, CEO of StackGen, emphasized the significance of this development, stating, “This acquisition represents the next phase of our growth as we build toward truly autonomous infrastructure. OpsVerse’s proven Agentic AI automation capabilities and talented engineering team will help us deliver on our vision faster while providing immediate value to our enterprise customers.” He further added, “The acquisition of OpsVerse represents a pivotal moment in our journey toward autonomous infrastructure.”

StackGen’s Autonomous Infrastructure Platform is designed to revolutionize cloud infrastructure management by enabling self-building, self-governing, self-healing, and self-optimizing capabilities at enterprise scale. The platform features a multi-agent intelligence architecture that ensures reliable and compliant operations across various cloud platforms and DevOps tools, offering configurable autonomy levels. StackGen’s existing AI agents, such as StackBuilder for generating compliant infrastructure and StackGuard for security and compliance posture management, will be further enhanced by Aiden’s intelligent automation.

Abhishek Gaurav, Senior Director at GreytHR, highlighted the industry’s anticipation for such a development: “By uniting to create autonomous infrastructure capabilities for DevOps teams, OpsVerse and StackGen are delivering what the industry has been waiting for – infrastructure that operates itself. Their AI agents provide intelligent, deterministic actions that keep systems healthy and resilient without needing constant human oversight, a fundamental shift from manual infrastructure management.”

OpsVerse has garnered significant industry recognition, having been listed in four Gartner® Hype Cycles and one Gartner® Market Guide in 2025. The integration of Aiden’s capabilities, including enhanced Generative AI automation features, will be made available to StackGen customers through existing programs and early access initiatives planned for the second half of 2025.

This acquisition underscores a broader industry shift towards AI-managed infrastructure. Gartner predicts that by 2028, at least 15% of day-to-day IT infrastructure tasks will be performed semi-autonomously by AI. StackGen’s platform aims to address the critical bottleneck in traditional infrastructure management, which currently sees developers spending nearly a quarter of their time on provisioning rather than feature development, leading to significant delays and financial losses. StackGen promises to reduce infrastructure effort for developers by 95%, decrease manual work for platform teams by tenfold, and lead to 35% fewer security incidents and 30% fewer production incidents.
