Radenta Academy Earns TESDA Accreditation for Robotics and VR Training, Paving Way for Industry 4.0 Skills

TLDR: Radenta Academy, a new initiative by Radenta Technologies, has officially received accreditation from the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) as a Technical Vocational Institute. This accreditation allows the academy to offer a Micro-Credential Course focused on robotics and virtual reality integration, serving as a crucial entry point for students to acquire TESDA National Certificates in fields aligned with Industry 4.0, including AI and automation.

Radenta Academy, the latest venture from Radenta Technologies, has achieved a significant milestone by securing official recognition as a TESDA-accredited Technical Vocational Institute (TVI). The accreditation, marked by a Certificate of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Program Registration for Micro-Credential Course, empowers Radenta Academy to deliver specialized training in robotics and virtual reality integration.

This newly accredited program is designed to be a gateway for individuals seeking to earn a TESDA National Certificate (NC), a vital credential for career advancement in the rapidly evolving digital landscape. The curriculum is meticulously crafted to equip students with future-ready skills, directly aligning with the demands of Industry 4.0, also known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Industry 4.0 signifies the ongoing transformation of manufacturing and industrial processes through the seamless integration of digital technologies, encompassing a broad spectrum of innovations such as the Internet of Things (IoT), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and automation, all contributing to the development of smart factories and cyber-physical systems. The overarching goal of this revolution is to significantly enhance efficiency, productivity, and flexibility across manufacturing and supply chain operations.

The TESDA-approved 80-hour program is structured to ensure students achieve a comprehensive set of core competencies upon completion. These include understanding the fundamental principles of Robotics and Virtual Reality, setting up and configuring Robotic Kits and VR systems, and exploring their practical applications in both educational and industrial settings. Students will also learn to identify components and functions of specific tools like Shape Robotics (Fable Go, Fable Explore) and various VR tools. A strong emphasis is placed on programming, covering block-based programming concepts, developing and executing basic programs for Shape Robotics, integrating VR elements into coding activities, and troubleshooting command coding errors. Furthermore, the program delves into implementing loop, conditional, and automation in programming, developing more complex robotics applications with decision-making capabilities, debugging and optimizing code for improved robotic performance, and applying acquired skills in a final robotics and VR integration project.
