Their next-generation NPU, RNGD, developed in collaboration with Taiwan’s Global Unichip Corporation (GUC) and TSMC, leverages cutting-edge technology including HBM3 memory and a 5nm process node. RNGD is designed to excel in large-scale model inference, offering competitive performance and a reported 100% power efficiency advantage over Nvidia’s H100 GPUs. FuriosaAI has already seen its RNGD chip integrated into LG AI Research’s infrastructure, aiming to reduce dependency on Nvidia chips.
WRTN, established in 2021, has rapidly grown to become a leading generative AI service in Korea, boasting over 1 million monthly active users.
