TLDR: Flipkart Ventures has initiated the fourth edition of its accelerator program, ‘Flipkart Leap Ahead’ (FLA), aimed at supporting early-stage AI-native startups in India. The program will offer equity investments of up to $500,000, along with mentorship and access to Flipkart’s ecosystem.

Flipkart Ventures, the investment arm of the e-commerce giant, has announced the launch of the fourth edition of its flagship accelerator program, Flipkart Leap Ahead (FLA). The program is designed to support early-stage startups, from pre-Seed to Series A funding stages, with a focus on those developing AI-native solutions for the Indian market.

Selected startups will receive an equity investment of up to $500,000. This year’s program will specifically target companies innovating in emerging technology fields such as generative and agentic AI, dronetech, and quick commerce enablement.

In addition to the financial investment, the program offers a comprehensive mentorship curriculum. Founders will receive guidance on various aspects of their business, including product, design, go-to-market strategies, and fundraising. Participants will also gain access to Flipkart’s extensive ecosystem, which includes opportunities for commercial partnerships and integrations. The program will culminate in a ‘Demo Day,’ where the startups can present their innovations to a curated network of top-tier investors and venture capitalists.

Ravi Iyer, Senior Vice President, Corporate at Flipkart, commented on the initiative, stating, “As AI continues to redefine what’s possible across industries, India stands at the cusp of a generational opportunity to lead this global shift. With Flipkart Leap Ahead 4.0, we are backing founders who are building category-defining technologies and solving for India at scale.” He further added, “Our mission goes beyond capital, we aim to be long-term partners, offering deep operational expertise, strategic connections, and access to Flipkart’s ecosystem.”
