Rebellions Joins Arm Total Design to Advance AI Infrastructure

TLDR: Rebellions, a rapidly expanding AI inference chip company, has officially joined the Arm Total Design program. This collaboration aims to accelerate the development of high-performance, energy-efficient AI infrastructure solutions for next-generation data centers, leveraging Rebellions’ expertise in chiplet-based AI accelerators and Arm’s Neoverse Compute Subsystems.

SAN JOSE, Calif. – Rebellions, recognized as Asia’s fastest-growing AI inference chip company, announced its strategic entry into the Arm® Total Design ecosystem at the OCP Global Summit 2025 on October 16, 2025. This move positions Rebellions as the first AI accelerator startup to join the prestigious program, which unites industry leaders to streamline and expedite the creation of custom systems built upon Arm Neoverseâ„¢ Compute Subsystems (CSS).

The collaboration addresses the escalating demand for enhanced performance and efficiency within AI data centers. Rebellions contributes its profound expertise in chiplet-based AI accelerator design, an architecture it is integrating into its forthcoming REBEL AI accelerator to significantly boost compute and I/O capabilities. The partnership is geared towards delivering high-performance, energy-efficient Systems-on-Chips (SoCs) tailored for the evolving landscape of AI data centers. The seamless integration of Arm Neoverse CSS with Rebellions’ AI accelerators is expected to provide a scalable and power-efficient solution for future AI deployments.

This strategic alliance is further solidified by Arm’s recent investment in Rebellions’ Series C funding round, underscoring a mutual commitment to developing optimized solutions for generative AI and advanced data center technologies.

Eddie Ramirez, vice president of go-to-market, Infrastructure Business at Arm, emphasized the industry’s critical need: “As AI compute demands surge, the industry needs a new generation of infrastructure that is faster, more efficient, and highly scalable.” He added, “By joining Arm Total Design, Rebellions is bringing advanced AI accelerators into our ecosystem, ready for integration with validated, performance-optimized Neoverse CSS, so that together we can enable the next wave of AI infrastructure innovation.”

Sunghyun Park, Co-founder and CEO of Rebellions, highlighted the significance for his company: “Joining Arm Total Design marks an important step for Rebellions as we scale our high-performance, energy-efficient AI inference solutions to meet the needs of hyperscale AI data centers.” Park further stated, “By combining Arm’s proven Neoverse CSS with our REBEL series and upcoming products, we aim to deliver accelerators purpose-built for large-scale data centers. Together with Arm and the broader ecosystem, we are committed to enabling customers to deploy solutions that are both powerful and sustainable.”
