Palo Alto, California – You.com, a prominent provider of AI search infrastructure for enterprises, has officially announced its acquisition of Graft, a company renowned for its comprehensive AI platform. The acquisition, which includes Graft’s innovative technology and its experienced team, is set to accelerate You.com’s enterprise and API platform growth, particularly in developing high-accuracy search infrastructure for AI agents and large language models (LLMs).
As part of the acquisition, Graft Co-Founder and CEO, Adam Oliner, PhD, will join You.com as Field CTO. Oliner brings extensive experience in applied AI and production machine learning, having previously led ML teams at Slack and Splunk. Graft’s other Co-Founder, Eric Schkufza, PhD, will assume the role of Senior Principal Engineer at You.com. Schkufza previously served as a Principal Scientist at Amazon, where he was instrumental in building infrastructure for Amazon’s first proprietary LLM and scaling global machine learning systems.
Graft’s core offering, its “Intelligence Layer,” is designed to operationalize foundation models over multimodal enterprise data. This technology enables companies to seamlessly connect internal documents, databases, and knowledge bases directly to AI systems, bridging the critical gap between data and decision-making. Graft’s platform has been instrumental in helping organizations deploy production-grade AI solutions for generative, predictive, and structured analytics use cases, making cutting-edge AI accessible even to teams with minimal machine learning expertise.
