Previously, Grok Imagine was an exclusive feature, available only to subscribers of SuperGrok or Premium Plus plans on X (formerly Twitter). The tool’s newfound accessibility allows a broader audience to experiment with its capabilities through the Grok application, available on both iOS and Android platforms. While initial reports suggest the free access is primarily for users in the United States, Elon Musk’s announcement indicated it would be free for all US users for a limited period.
Grok Imagine is designed to create AI-generated images and short video clips, typically up to six seconds in length, from either text prompts or uploaded images. A notable feature is its ability to generate accompanying voice within the videos, positioning it alongside advanced models like Google’s Veo3.
