The West Virginia Council for Community and Technical College Education recently approved over $1.04 million in Technical Program Development Grant awards for five distinct programs. A significant portion, $169,440, has been allocated to Eastern West Virginia Community and Technical College for its new Applied Artificial Intelligence certificate program. These initiatives are developed in close collaboration with major employers such as IBM and Northrop Grumman, ensuring that graduates acquire in-demand skills in machine learning, data analysis, and AI applications crucial for sectors like healthcare, manufacturing, finance, and defense.
