Vivo T4 Pro 5G Unveiled in India: A Premium Mid-Range Smartphone with AI Enhancements and a Stunning 120Hz AMOLED Display

TLDR: Vivo has officially launched its T4 Pro 5G smartphone in India, targeting the premium mid-range segment. The device boasts a powerful Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, a vibrant 6.77-inch 120Hz quad-curved AMOLED display, and a versatile triple-camera system featuring a 50MP periscope lens. It also integrates AI-backed features and offers extensive software support, with prices starting from Rs. 27,999.

Vivo has officially introduced its latest premium mid-range smartphone, the Vivo T4 Pro 5G, to the Indian market on August 26, 2025. This new addition to the T-series lineup is designed to offer a blend of high performance, advanced imaging, and a stylish design, positioning itself just below the T4 Ultra model.

Display and Design: The Vivo T4 Pro 5G features an immersive 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 1.5K (2392×1080) resolution and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. The screen boasts an impressive local peak brightness of up to 5,000 nits and a global peak brightness of 1,500 nits, ensuring excellent visibility even under direct sunlight. It supports HDR10+ and 2,160Hz PWM dimming for a superior visual experience, with protection provided by Diamond Shield Glass. The device maintains an ultra-slim profile, measuring 7.53mm in thickness, and is available in two elegant color options: Blaze Gold and Nitro Blue.

Performance and Software: Under the hood, the T4 Pro 5G is powered by the cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, built on a power-efficient 4nm architecture. This processor delivers robust performance, achieving an AnTuTu score exceeding 1 million, which translates to flagship-level speed and responsiveness. The phone comes with up to 12GB of RAM, further expandable with an additional 12GB of extended RAM, allowing for seamless multitasking with support for over 40 background applications. It ships with Android 15, layered with Vivo’s FunTouch OS 15, and Vivo has committed to providing four years of Android software updates and six years of security support.

Camera Capabilities: Photography enthusiasts will appreciate the Vivo T4 Pro’s sophisticated triple-camera setup on the rear. This includes a 50MP primary Sony IMX882 sensor with Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), a 50MP periscope telephoto lens offering 3x optical zoom and up to 10x telephoto stage portrait capabilities, and a 2MP auxiliary sensor. For selfies and video calls, the device is equipped with a 32MP front camera, which also supports 4K video recording.

Battery and Durability: The smartphone houses a substantial 6,500mAh silicon-carbon battery, supporting rapid 90W wired fast charging. Additional charging features include reverse charging and bypass charging. The Vivo T4 Pro is built to withstand the elements, boasting IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, and it meets MIL-STD-810H durability standards.

Other Features and Availability: Further enhancing the user experience are dual-stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint scanner, and wet touch support. Notably, the device does not support NFC. The Vivo T4 Pro 5G will be available for purchase starting August 29, 2025, through the Vivo India e-store, Flipkart, and select offline retail stores. Consumers can avail of launch offers, including an INR 3,000 instant discount on select bank cards (HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, and SBI) and an exchange bonus of INR 3,000, along with no-cost EMI options for up to six months.
