The deal, valued at $150 million in a combination of cash and stock, significantly bolsters Varonis’s offerings in the rapidly evolving cybersecurity landscape.
SlashNext, founded by Atif Mushtaq, a key architect behind FireEye’s core malware sandbox technology, is renowned for its advanced predictive AI models. These models utilize sophisticated techniques such as computer vision, natural language processing, and virtual browsers to detect and neutralize advanced phishing, social engineering, Business Email Compromise (BEC), and QR code attacks. The company boasts an impressive 99% detection accuracy rate, protecting users across multiple communication channels including email, WhatsApp, Slack, and Teams.

For the full year 2025, Varonis expects Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) of $748.0 million to $754.0 million, indicating a 17% year-over-year growth. Revenues are forecast to be between $616.0 million and $628.0 million, a 12% to 14% year-over-year increase, with free cash flow projected at $120.0 million to $125.0 million.
