PUNE, India – August 29, 2025 – Talentica Software, a leading AI-native product engineering company, today announced the successful conclusion and winners of its highly anticipated Agentic AI 2025 Hackathon. This marks the company’s third remote hackathon, a key initiative aimed at fostering an AI-native mindset among its engineers and refining AI-native processes across the organization. The event, which has become a much-anticipated fixture in Talentica’s calendar, took place from July 31 to August 2, 2025, culminating in the announcement of winners on August 29, 2025.

The hackathon drew an impressive 303 participants, organized into 38 diverse teams. These teams comprised individuals from all levels of the company, ranging from freshers to experienced engineering managers, and even included non-engineers, highlighting Talentica’s commitment to broad-based innovation. Participants included software engineers, Quality Assurance professionals, DevOps specialists, architects, and UX designers, all collaborating to push the boundaries of AI in software development.

The central theme for this edition was ‘Advancing SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) Automation,’ challenging teams to create innovative, SDLC-focused systems that enhance speed, efficiency, and quality without duplicating existing solutions. Over an intense 48-hour period, the teams engaged in brainstorming, problem-solving, and coding to develop groundbreaking solutions. Projects were rigorously judged on several criteria, including SDLC relevance, the level of automation achieved, innovation, technical completeness, and performance & observability.

Anindita Dey, Senior Manager – People Group, emphasized the strategic importance of such events, stating, “Hackathons are crucial for cross-team collaboration, staying ahead of trends, and building hands-on skills for AI-native initiatives. Our participants have mastered the remote format to deliver outstanding results.”

The top honor went to Team TX, whose winning project showcased an ingenious AI agent. This agent is designed to expand limited or unclear requirements into a detailed Product Requirement Document (PRD), meticulously factoring in critical elements such as budget, target market, customer base, and time-to-market. This solution exemplifies the practical application of agentic AI in streamlining complex development processes. The victorious Team TX was awarded ₹1 lakh in gift vouchers and received the exciting opportunity to evolve their prototype into a market-ready product.

Aniket Shaligram, VP of Technology, praised the participants’ approach, noting, “We always start with the user story. Seeing brilliant minds align to that and build AI agents delivering cutting-edge solutions is inspiring.”

Beyond the overall winner, other teams were also recognized for their exceptional contributions. Team Virtual Vanguard was honored with the ‘Best Idea’ award, while Team AIncredibles received accolades for ‘Best Presentation.’
