SuperX Unveils XN9160-B300 AI Server Featuring NVIDIA Blackwell B300 GPUs for Advanced AI and HPC Workloads

TLDR: Super X AI Technology Limited has launched its new XN9160-B300 AI server, integrating NVIDIA’s powerful Blackwell B300 GPUs. This 8U server is engineered for demanding AI training, inference, and high-performance computing applications, marking a significant advancement in the company’s AI infrastructure offerings.

Singapore-headquartered Super X AI Technology Limited (NASDAQ:SUPX), a prominent AI infrastructure solutions provider, has officially announced the release of its flagship SuperX XN9160-B300 AI Server. This cutting-edge system is powered by NVIDIA’s advanced Blackwell B300 GPUs, designed to cater to the escalating demands of scalable, high-performance computing across various AI and HPC workloads.

The XN9160-B300 AI Server is meticulously optimized for intensive tasks such as foundation model training, inference, large language models, reinforcement learning, and multimodal AI models. Beyond artificial intelligence, it is also capable of handling complex high-performance computing applications, including drug discovery, climate modeling, and financial risk analysis.

Key technical specifications of the new server highlight its robust capabilities: it is an 8U server housing eight NVIDIA Blackwell B300 GPUs, collectively offering a substantial 2,304GB of HBM3E memory (288GB per GPU). The system is further bolstered by dual Intel Xeon 6th generation processors and supports up to 32 DDR5 memory modules. For high-speed data transfer, it includes eight 800Gb/s networking ports, configurable for InfiniBand or dual 400Gb/s Ethernet connectivity.

Energy efficiency and reliability are also central to the server’s design, featuring twelve 3000W power supplies with 80 PLUS Titanium certification. Storage needs are met with eight 2.5-inch Gen5 NVMe hot-swap bays and multiple PCIe Gen5 x16 slots.

In a press release, SuperX stated, “The launch of the SuperX XN9160-B300 AI server marks a significant milestone in SuperX’s AI infrastructure roadmap.” This move is expected to enhance the company’s market positioning by delivering powerful GPU instances and compute capabilities crucial for accelerating global AI innovation.

Super X AI Technology Limited, with a market capitalization of $1.86 billion, provides a comprehensive portfolio of proprietary hardware, advanced software, and end-to-end services for AI data centers. The company serves a global clientele, including enterprises, research institutions, and various cloud and edge computing deployments.

Recent financial analysis from InvestingPro indicates that while SuperX maintains strong liquidity with a current ratio of 1.99, it has faced profitability challenges, reporting negative earnings over the last twelve months.

In other strategic developments, SuperX AI has announced plans to establish its first regional supply center in Japan, aiming for a 10,000-server capacity. This facility in Tsu City, Mie Prefecture, will manage final assembly, system integration, and quality control, with operations expected to begin by the end of 2025. However, the company has also been under scrutiny due to allegations from short-seller J Capital, which claims SuperX is not genuinely involved in AI and is instead backed by Chinese property developers.
