TURIN, Italy – October 1, 2025 – Automotive giant Stellantis N.V. and leading artificial intelligence company Mistral AI today unveiled a major expansion of their partnership, signaling a strategic shift towards embedding AI at the core of Stellantis’ global operations. The announcement, made at Italian Tech Week in Turin, marks a new milestone in a collaboration that has already yielded tangible results over the past 18 months.
The deepened alliance aims to accelerate enterprise-wide AI adoption, unlocking significant gains in efficiency, agility, and customer value across Stellantis’ vast enterprise. The two companies have successfully integrated Mistral AI’s models into various applications, ranging from next-generation in-car assistants to AI-powered business and engineering workflows.
To facilitate this ambitious integration, Stellantis and Mistral AI are establishing two key platforms:
Innovation Lab: This dedicated lab will focus on co-developing customized AI solutions, with an initial emphasis on enhancing sales and aftersales operations. The goal is to empower these teams with AI-driven insights to improve customer service, personalize interactions, and support smarter decision-making.
Transformation Academy: Designed to scale AI adoption throughout the entire Stellantis organization, this academy will ensure that AI capabilities are effectively deployed and utilized across all business functions, including engineering and other domains.
