Coimbatore, September 4, 2025 – The SSVM Group of Institutions proudly announced the successful conclusion of its 4th annual Transforming India Conclave 2025, a three-day event held from September 1st to 3rd at SSVM World School in Coimbatore. The conclave served as a premier platform for intellectual exchange, drawing together a diverse group of thought leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, educators, and students to delve into the profound theme: ‘AI & Humanity – Co-Creating Our World Today.’

The discussions throughout the conclave emphasized the crucial balance between technological advancement and human values. Dr. Manimekalai Mohan, Founder & Managing Trustee of SSVM Institutions, set the tone by stating, ‘While machines may calculate, it is humanity that must lead with conscience and compassion. AI finds its true purpose only when guided by empathy and values.’ This sentiment was echoed by Jalaj Dani, Co-promoter of Asian Paints and Chairman of Addverb and Endureair, who highlighted that ‘though technology is a powerful enabler, progress without purpose is incomplete. Innovation must align with ethics and societal needs.’

Keynote speakers and panelists explored various facets of AI’s impact on society. Ankur Warikoo, founder of Webveda, delivered an insightful address on ‘Being Human in the Age of AI,’ asserting that ‘AI can automate and predict, but it cannot define humanity. Our flaws and vulnerabilities are not weaknesses—they are the essence of being human.’ Entrepreneur Rahul John Aju further elaborated on human versus AI creativity, noting, ‘The difference between human and AI creativity lies in scale. Human imagination, rooted in trillions of lived experiences, is far greater. It is our curiosity and choices that determine how AI will serve us.’

The conclave also featured perspectives from diverse fields. Artist Harshit Agrawal advocated for an ‘anti-disciplinary approach,’ emphasizing that ‘creativity flourishes when we rebel against rigid boxes.’ Film Director Lokesh Kanagaraj underscored the enduring appeal of human performance, stating that audiences will always seek ‘real human performances, not their AI versions.’ Other notable speakers included Rohit Kapoor (CEO – Food Marketplace, Swiggy India) on AI in logistics, Prakash Padukone on the human spirit in sports, Suresh Narayanan on building brand trust, and Sanjay Jain (Head of Google for Education, India) on AI’s transformative role in classrooms.

Interactive workshops, such as ‘Socially Smart Powered by AI’ by AI strategist Rishi Jain and ‘AI for Social Good’ by Tapan Aslot, provided practical insights into how AI can enhance communication, healthcare, and governance, while also prompting critical ethical considerations. The event also celebrated excellence through the Studentpreneur and Inspirational Guru Awards, recognizing young entrepreneurial talent and dedicated educators.
