Spacely AI Secures $1 Million Seed Funding to Advance AI-Powered Interior Design

TLDR: Spacely AI, a Bangkok-based platform leveraging generative AI for architecture and interior design, has successfully raised US$1 million in seed funding. Led by PropTech Farm Fund III, the investment will fuel product development, global expansion, and the launch of a new 2D-to-3D automation engine designed to significantly enhance design efficiency.

Spacely AI, a pioneering startup based in Bangkok, has announced the successful closure of a US$1 million seed funding round. The company, which specializes in applying generative artificial intelligence to the architecture and interior design sectors, aims to revolutionize traditional design workflows with its innovative solutions.

The funding round was spearheaded by PropTech Farm Fund III, with notable participation from industry figures including Wannaporn Phornprapha, Managing Director of P Landscape; Ted Poshakrishna Thirapatana, founder of UTC Holdings; and Mek Srunyu Stittri, former VP Engineering at GitLab. This capital injection is earmarked to accelerate Spacely AI’s product development initiatives and facilitate its expansion into key global markets, including establishing a presence in the United States.

A significant portion of the new funds will be dedicated to the launch of Spacely AI’s next-generation 2D-to-3D automation engine. The company projects that this advanced engine will dramatically reduce manual concept work by up to 80 percent, promising a substantial boost in overall design efficiency for professionals. This latest investment follows a pre-seed funding round from SCB 10X.

Spacely AI’s core offering is a comprehensive cloud suite tailored for architects and designers. This platform provides a range of AI-powered tools, including AI rendering for both interior and exterior spaces, intuitive image-editing functionalities, AI virtual staging, and automated 3D model generation. The system is currently fully integrated with SketchUp via Extension Warehouse, with plans to extend support to more leading CAD tools, ensuring seamless integration into existing professional software workflows.

Paruey Anadirekkul, CEO of Spacely AI, emphasized the industry’s shift towards AI adoption, stating, “Every architecture firm is rebuilding its workflow around AI. Success now depends on how quickly you adapt, especially as clients are already experimenting with these tools.” The company’s overarching mission is to empower architects to secure more business, unleash greater creativity, and reduce operational costs by automating repetitive tasks.
