Spacelift Inc., a startup specializing in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) orchestration, has announced the successful closure of a $51 million Series C funding round. The investment was led by Five Elms Capital and included participation from Endeavor Catalyst and Inovo Venture Partners. This new capital injection will be pivotal in accelerating the company’s product innovation and driving broader enterprise adoption of its platform.
Spacelift provides a comprehensive tool for companies to manage and automate their IT infrastructure. The platform supports various IaC tools, including Terraform, OpenTofu, Pulumi, Terragrunt, and CloudFormation, as well as application deployment tools like Kubernetes and Ansible. A key feature of Spacelift’s platform is its integration of generative artificial intelligence, which allows developers and infrastructure teams to describe their desired outcomes in natural language, with the AI handling the technical implementation.
By streamlining the process of provisioning and configuring IT environments, Spacelift aims to increase the velocity of developer teams. The platform empowers developers to self-serve many of their infrastructure needs securely, reducing the workload on infrastructure engineers and fostering better collaboration between teams.
