The new voice assistant transcends traditional in-car functionalities, offering drivers and passengers a more intuitive and connected journey. Beyond standard commands for navigation and phone calls, the SoundHound Chat AI Automotive system facilitates dynamic, natural conversations. Users can engage in complex interactions such as planning trips, accessing detailed information from the vehicle’s manual, listening to stories, taking quizzes, and asking follow-up questions without the need to restart conversations. The system’s ability to understand contextual clues allows for a seamless, human-like dialogue, even enabling the combination of vehicle control commands with external information queries in a single, continuous conversation.
