The new offering comprises both semester- and year-long AI literacy courses, meticulously designed to cater to four distinct grade bands: K–2, 3–5, 6–8, and 9–12. This comprehensive curriculum includes detailed lesson plans, a mix of ‘plugged’ (digital) and ‘unplugged’ (offline) student activities, and digital textbooks. The primary goal of these materials is to foster students’ foundational understanding of artificial intelligence while simultaneously providing educators with structured and scalable content for classroom implementation.
This educational initiative was made possible through a grant secured from the Utah Governor’s Office of Economic Opportunity, underscoring a state-backed commitment to future-ready education. Further strengthening the program’s reach and effectiveness, Skill Struck partnered with the Davis Catalyst Center.
Beyond the core curriculum, Skill Struck’s broader platform offers adaptive digital tools that encompass coding, AI engagement, and keyboarding skills. Teachers utilizing the program will also gain access to professional development resources and student performance dashboards, enabling them to monitor progress and tailor instruction effectively. A notable feature of Skill Struck’s ecosystem is its ‘Chat for Schools’ product, which provides a secure AI chat tool, differentiated tutoring capabilities, assessment features, and aids in lesson planning.
