Samsung Electronics is embarking on a transformative journey to become an ‘AI Driven Company’ by the year 2030, a strategic vision articulated by Roh Tae-Moon, the acting head of the company’s Device eXperience (DX) division. This commitment was unveiled during the ‘2025 DX Connect’ town hall meeting, an event that marked Roh’s first attendance at an institutional sector town hall since assuming his acting role in April.

Addressing employees, Roh Tae-Moon emphasized the unprecedented speed of evolution within the electronics industry, driven by the rapid development and widespread adoption of artificial intelligence. He stated, ‘We will innovate the essence of our business centered around artificial intelligence (AI) and transform into an ‘AI Driven Company’ that works and grows with AI.’ This declaration signals a fundamental shift in Samsung’s operational and strategic focus.
