SailPoint and HCLTech Form Alliance for AI-Powered Identity Security

TLDR: SailPoint and HCLTech have announced a strategic partnership to deliver advanced, AI-driven identity security solutions for large enterprises. This collaboration combines SailPoint’s AI-powered Atlas platform with HCLTech’s cybersecurity expertise and managed services, aiming to enhance identity governance, accelerate digital transformation, and secure AI agents in an increasingly complex digital landscape.

SailPoint, a leader in identity security, and HCLTech, a global technology company, have officially forged a strategic alliance to provide cutting-edge, AI-driven identity security solutions designed specifically for the evolving needs of enterprise environments. This partnership addresses the escalating scale and complexity of managing digital identities, particularly in a world increasingly influenced by artificial intelligence.

The collaboration integrates the SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, powered by its innovative AI-driven Atlas platform, with HCLTech’s extensive global cybersecurity practice and its managed services framework, MiDaaS. The joint offering is engineered to empower large organizations to automate lifecycle access controls, continuously monitor access risks, and enforce robust policies across diverse IT infrastructures, including hybrid, multi-cloud, and AI-centric systems.

The alliance is set to deliver three core benefits to organizations. Firstly, it aims to accelerate identity transformation by facilitating the migration from legacy, fragmented systems to a modern, unified platform, supported by HCLTech’s international delivery teams and certified consultants. Secondly, it promises continuous risk-aware governance of digital identities, leveraging real-time analytics from SailPoint’s Atlas platform and HCLTech’s governance support to manage policy enforcement, access certification, and detect irregular access patterns. Thirdly, as generative AI applications and agents become more prevalent within enterprises, the partnership is strategically positioned to support zero-trust aligned controls for real-time identity governance, ensuring security in this new frontier.

Further solidifying their commitment, HCLTech has achieved the prestigious status of SailPoint Global Delivery Admiral Partner, the highest level of recognition awarded by SailPoint for partners demonstrating excellence in customer satisfaction, deployment scale, and certified expertise.

Both companies underscored the critical importance of identity as a foundational component of enterprise security in the AI era. Matt Mills, President of SailPoint, emphasized this, stating, ‘In the AI era, identities, including agents, are the new perimeter and must be intelligently governed and secured. Our partnership with HCLTech enables more customers to build identity security programs at scale to secure AI agents and other identities – programs that are policy‐driven, risk‐aware, and resilient to fast‐moving digital threats.’

Jagadeshwar Gattu, President of Digital Foundation Services at HCLTech, highlighted the partnership’s role in zero-trust models and the future of AI. He commented, ‘A zero-trust operating model requires an Identity-first approach, which in turn can also serve as a strong digital foundation for an AI-powered future. By embedding SailPoint Atlas into our unified IAM and managed services ecosystem, we empower enterprises to manage identity risk proactively and with confidence.’ Gattu also noted HCLTech’s broader strategy of investing in alliances that deliver tangible business outcomes and long-term value.
