This collaboration aims to integrate over a century of RSNA’s peer-reviewed knowledge directly into radiologists’ daily workflows through Rad AI Reporting, optimizing workflows, improving patient care, and accelerating innovation in medical imaging. The partnership will debut its first product demonstration at RSNA 2025.
Chicago, IL – October 8, 2025 – RSNA Ventures, the innovation-focused subsidiary of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), has officially announced a strategic partnership with Rad AI, a prominent developer of generative artificial intelligence solutions for the healthcare sector. This alliance is set to revolutionize radiology and imaging technologies by embedding RSNA’s extensive peer-reviewed knowledge directly into the diagnostic workflow of radiologists.
The partnership addresses a critical challenge facing the radiology community: the increasing volume of imaging studies coupled with a workforce that is not growing at the same pace, and an exponentially expanding body of medical knowledge. By integrating RSNA’s trusted content into Rad AI Reporting, the collaboration aims to provide radiologists with immediate access to relevant, case-based insights at the point of interpretation, thereby enhancing efficiency and maintaining high standards of patient care.
Dr. Adam E. Flanders, RSNA Board liaison for information technology, emphasized the strategic importance of this collaboration, stating, “This partnership aims to solve a critical challenge for radiologists – leveraging AI to optimize workflows to improve patient care. Through this alliance, RSNA Ventures will deliver RSNA’s peer-reviewed content into Rad AI’s solutions already in use across leading U.S. radiology practices and health systems, ensuring that this innovation is trusted and practical.”
Jeff Chang, MD, co-founder and chief product officer at Rad AI, highlighted the historical adaptability of radiologists to new technologies. “Radiologists have always been pioneers in adopting technology,” said Dr. Chang. He added that the partnership offers radiologists an ‘unprecedented advantage’ by delivering case-based insights in real-time, allowing them to concentrate on image interpretation. This integration is expected to enable radiologists to provide rapid, data-backed recommendations to providers and answers to patients with greater confidence, grounded in the best available peer-reviewed knowledge.
