NEW YORK – Roadzen Inc. (Nasdaq: RDZN), a global technology leader at the convergence of artificial intelligence (AI), insurance, and mobility, announced today that its in-cabin intelligence platform, DrivebuddyAI, has successfully secured five-year contracts with six leading Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) commercial trucking fleets in India. This significant nationwide rollout will see the deployment of DrivebuddyAI’s advanced Driver Monitoring System (DMS) and Collision Warning AI across more than 1,500 high-performance Volvo and BharatBenz trucks.
The contracted fleets, including Rajam Logistics, DHIR Logistics, New Shree Bombay, ARL Logistics, and M10, operate across India’s crucial middle-mile and long-haul cargo corridors. These fleets serve as vital third-party logistics (3PL) providers for major e-commerce players, where operational uptime, driver safety, and regulatory compliance are paramount.
Each five-year contract encompasses full hardware installation and a recurring monthly per-vehicle licensing fee for DrivebuddyAI’s software and services. The total contract value is projected to reach the mid-seven figures (USD) over the full term, with all participating fleets anticipated to be fully operational with DrivebuddyAI by March 2026.
A core component of the DrivebuddyAI solution is its 24×7 Command Centre, which leverages AI to enable proactive driver monitoring and real-time intervention. This includes the capability to halt vehicles when signs of driver drowsiness or fatigue are detected, effectively preventing potential accidents before they occur.
Roadzen is also actively collaborating with select fleet partners to integrate insurance-linked benefits. These benefits include safety-based premium discounts and streamlined claims management, a unique offering made possible by Roadzen’s distinctive combination of AI, telematics, and insurance infrastructure.
Rohan Malhotra, Founder & CEO of Roadzen, commented on the achievement, stating, “DrivebuddyAI is gaining a lot of momentum — we are deploying thousands of aftermarket installations within commercial trucking. This cluster of wins came through referrals within the Volvo and BharatBenz trucking fleet community, and shows how smaller, high-performing logistics players are embracing advanced safety solutions.”
