Roadzen Partners with Motion Finance to Expand Embedded GAP Insurance in UK

TLDR: Roadzen Inc., through its UK subsidiary Global Insurance Management (GIM), has partnered with Motion Finance, a leading UK automotive finance broker, to offer embedded Return to Invoice (RTI) GAP Insurance. This collaboration leverages Roadzen’s AI-led infrastructure to seamlessly integrate GAP insurance into the vehicle financing process, aiming to expand Roadzen’s presence in the UK and European markets.

NEW YORK – August 7, 2025 – Roadzen Inc. (Nasdaq: RDZN), a global leader in artificial intelligence at the intersection of insurance and mobility, announced today that its wholly-owned UK-based subsidiary, Global Insurance Management Limited (GIM), has forged a strategic partnership with Motion Finance. Motion Finance, recognized as one of the UK’s premier automotive finance brokers and part of the Evolution Funding Group, will now deliver Return to Invoice (RTI) GAP Insurance to its customers who are financing vehicles.

This significant agreement marks a substantial expansion of Roadzen’s embedded insurance footprint across the UK and Europe. The solution utilizes GIM’s Global Distribution Network (GDN) platform to seamlessly embed GAP Insurance directly into the vehicle financing journey. This integration facilitates real-time policy pricing, issuance, payments, and claims management through a unified digital platform, offering both control and peace of mind to customers.

Motion Finance, a key entity within the Evolution Funding Group—the UK’s largest used auto finance platform—will now incorporate Roadzen as an integral part of its expanding ecosystem of technology-led finance and insurance services. This partnership will provide dealers and their customers with access to streamlined, embedded protection products directly at the point of sale.

GAP Insurance is designed to protect consumers from financial loss if a vehicle is declared a total loss due to theft, fire, or accident. It covers the difference between the insurer’s payout and the vehicle’s original invoice price. Eligible Motion Finance customers can now secure up to four years of GAP coverage at the time of purchase, with GIM systems managing policy activation, administration, and claims through a fully digital and compliant process.

Commenting on the partnership, Rohan Malhotra, Founder and CEO of Roadzen Inc., stated, “This is a key channel partnership for us. Motion Finance is one of the UK’s most trusted automotive finance platforms, with scale and a deeply engaged customer base. We’re proud to power their insurance offering with our AI-led infrastructure.” Malhotra also highlighted the momentum in Roadzen’s UK operations, noting, “In just three months, we’ve announced three high-profile partnerships and are building a robust pipeline. I believe we are well positioned to accelerate growth and capture new market opportunities swiftly.”

Russell Hickman, Commercial Director of Motion Finance, emphasized the customer-centric nature of the collaboration: “Customer protection is at the heart of what we do. Through this partnership with GIM and the introduction of embedded GAP insurance, we’re empowering our customers to finance vehicles with confidence, knowing they’re protected against financial shortfalls in case of unforeseen events. We’re excited to offer this valuable protection at the point of sale and reinforce Motion Finance’s commitment to transparency and customer-centric solutions.”

This collaboration reinforces Roadzen’s overarching mission to revolutionize insurance distribution by embedding protection into the vehicle ownership experience through its AI-powered digital infrastructure. It is expected to accelerate the company’s growth within the UK and broader European automotive insurance markets. Furthermore, it aligns with Evolution Funding Group’s strategic vision to enhance dealer and customer journeys by integrating market-leading finance and insurance innovations across its network.
