Rhombus Power Secures $200 Million US Air Force Contract for Advanced AI Decision Platform

TLDR: Rhombus Power has been awarded a significant $200 million contract by the US Air Force for the development of an AI-powered decision analysis tool, further solidifying its role in enhancing strategic decision-making capabilities for national security.

Rhombus Power, a leader in AI-powered decision intelligence, has secured a $200 million contract from the US Air Force for the development of an AI Decision Analysis Tool. This significant award, reported on September 26, 2025, underscores the Air Force’s continued investment in advanced artificial intelligence to bolster its strategic capabilities.

The company specializes in transforming high-stakes decision-making by integrating multi-domain data, predictive AI models, and expert-guided analysis into a unified cognitive platform. Rhombus Power aims to empower defense and intelligence leaders with proactive, predictive decision-making, enabling faster and more confident actions in mission-critical environments.

This latest contract appears to build upon Rhombus Power’s established relationship with the Air Force. The company is well-known for its “Guardian” software, which leverages machine learning, signal detection, and multi-domain data fusion to predict a range of events, from adversarial missile launches to global instability. The Guardian software has a notable track record, including its use in Ukraine prior to the 2022 Russian invasion, where it accurately predicted the offensive months in advance, and its role in predicting Taliban attacks in Afghanistan in 2020.

While the specific details of the new 2025 contract are emerging, Rhombus Power previously secured a $200 million Other Transaction Agreement (OTA) in September 2020, also for “Rhombus Guardian,” as part of the Advanced Battle Management System (ABMS) program. Under that agreement, the company was tasked with developing cloud-agnostic solutions for data caching, routing, software updating, access control, and traffic management across multiple classification levels. The company also holds a significant Indefinite Delivery Contract (IDV) as part of the ABMS program, awarded in November 2020, with a ceiling value of $950 million and an ultimate completion date of May 28, 2025.

Rhombus Power’s “AI-first decision intelligence platform” is designed to unify multi-domain data, predictive AI, and expert-guided reasoning. It seamlessly integrates structured and unstructured intelligence from open-source, classified, and sensor-driven data streams, and operates securely across classified, hybrid, and coalition environments. The platform develops proprietary models to anticipate mission risks, optimize operational decisions, and guide commanders with actionable foresight, while ensuring sovereign AI and explainability through transparent and auditable models.
